Ride your musicTetris? Well it kind of has a Tetris-like feel to it when you look at the block collecting and creating rows, but the similarities end there. The game is quite a fresh and shiny idea and it also comes with the Organge box OST. You know, the gamebox with Half-Life 2: Episode 2, Portal and Team Fortress 2. The game is bought trough the steam store, the price is a one time $9.95 (excl VAT).
Audiosurf is a music-adapting puzzle racer where you use your own music to create your own experience. The shape, the speed, and the mood of each ride is determined by the song you choose. You earn points for clustering together blocks of the same color on the highway, and compete with others on the Internet for the highscore on your favorite songs.

Verdict:
At a first glance this game looks very basic... But this is also true for some other infamous games that are very addictive. Audiosurf is a game that has an overkill in that department, because the game is never the same with each and every song you use to generate the tracks. Hugely extending it's replay value.
If you want to play the game without much fuss you can load up a slow song and on the other hand if you want to go at it at full speed, you can load up a fast song. The nice thing is this very feature. You play on a race track with your own favorite music and the game calcuates the race tracks plus obstacles based on the song.
90/100 = musthave
especially if you're into highspeed puzzle gaming
