Since I'm mostly working on machinima at the moment and they are all Valve/Steam related. With using TF2 and L4D and all. I thought it would be nice to have an Existence-Uknown Steam community group for people to either join or discuss anything related to the machinima's and EXU related stuff I create. Also because the site currently lacks any form of community. When I get the admin systems sorted out in Marbl-CMS, I will also be adding forum support and probably a comment/rating system, similar to YouTube (with more features of course).
Now all of you are probably wondering: "what is taking so long with episode 3 of Something's Sappening". Let's just I want a lot of special effects in there, making it seem that scout and sniper are both part of the L4D environment. I'm using a lot of nice camera effects and paths to give the whole thing a cinematic feeling.
Add to this the fact that the combat between scout and sniper versus the zombies is simply put, quite a lot of work to make it look believable. I recently found a nicer way of recording using the demo smoother from Valve. It has a lot of potential and I want to show off this tool in episode 3.
When is episode 3 coming out I hear you all scream! (The emails/PM’s are also a hint :D) Well I am working on some nice effects and stuff. At the moment of writing this article I think it is safe to say I have about 80% done (posted the same on my YouTube channel). I'm not sure when it will be finished, but it will get done I promise you that!
