Minecraft, Crafty craftiness - Texturepack

Modification of games is a trait all games should have to a certain extend. Minecraft for instance looks and feels like an oldschool game, but has some seriously nice randomly generating worlds behind it. However the textures are indeed somewhat nostalgic or perhaps even too oldschool as they do have a very highly pixilated look to them.
Some people like this and some people absolutely hate this. Perhaps one of the reasons why the “HD” texture packs exist. However, I find it more enjoyable myself to have lowres textures that still look good. The current default resolution of Minecraft’s textures are 16x16 and to create something in that small format, which actually looks good is more of a challenge then going high res.
There are already a lot of texture packs out there, some are total modification, which introduce other games into the mix, Zelda/Sonic look for instance. Others go for a nicer looking texture feel to the default textures, Painterly is such a pack. And of course the HD texture packs, which do look nice. However, because the world of Minecraft is so blocky I find those highres textures a little bit out of place.
From all the awesome packs out there, not one of them could win me over entirely. Most just mod the textures a bit too much for my taste. So what else is left to do for me other then try and create my own.
My goal with this pack is to take the default textures to a next level, but keeping it at 16x16. I still want that Minecraft feeling, while not going overboard with heavy texture modifications. It has to look like Minecraft so to speak, but with a smoother feel to it. I will probably keep updating it as I find other textures that could have this new smoother feel to it.

Nope, my upload is not sufficient for a server. Download is plenty fast, but they seem to insist on capping the upload at 280kb/s

Hehe, they do have a bit of Herobrine about them right now. An even creepier version it seems. Good to hear you like it :)
1) texturepack update downloaded.
2) start it up.
3) make my new Look-Out Point (like your main balcony room).
4) Bring in my 4 dogs. ( Yes, FOUR!)
5) Go outside, sword at the ready.
6) Come back in and make some new iron pants (I fell off the mountain during the construction process earlier that day).
7) Go back outside.
8) Turn, scream, than hack the crap out of Herobrine (even though it was a zombie).
9) Go to sleep after an average day in Minecraft.
10) The new pack is FAN-FREAKING-TASTIC!!!!:D

Martin!!!! I got 1.0!!! But I don't understand my computer. It wouldn't work with 1.8 or 1.9? But who cares!!!!!:D I'm looking forward to the episode with the other portal!
