Extreme inactivity, some kind of explanation

Not sure how many people actually read this, but here goes. I've been making promises about the comic I was not able to keep. I am working on lots of stuff all at the same time (which is usually a bad idea ^_^ ). Anyway it makes it impossible for me to actually do anything for the actual comic itself (my drawing skills are still slow as hell and not that good anyway)
I can tell you the following, which might be quite interesting:
I am working on a Flash game engine to be used for a game related to the comic as first "game" release, since it can be easily used for other game I might think of. I can't say much about it yet except the engine perhaps. It will have a birds eye view in some areas, comparable with RTS/RPG games and it will have 2d platform gameplay on other areas. It will feature a character from the comic as main player and of course a more elaborate alien selection for you to combat. I might even turn things arround as well so you can play as alien. I think I already said to much ^_^
A second thing I've also been working on is a new kind of CMS that easy to implement into existing sites and also easy to keep up to date and for adding sections. I'm quite stubborn I'm told, as there are a lot of good CMS systems out there already. But I just want to build one of my own so I know all the ins and outs of the system. The current site was more of a learning experience then anything else. The CMS I'm creating is not only for this site ofcourse, more projects takes away more of my precious time. But once I get this CMS going I'll need a lot less time to create new sites. Also the Cbox shoutbox will be replaced with a comment system.
The state of this site currently is nothing compared to the new CMS I'm creating. Now I can change things on this site with a limited editor and this only applies to the news page (Home) and the cast and faq pages.
The new login system is comprised of two independent ones, the first one is a "normal" login system to be used on a site without a PHPBB2 forum. And the second one, which I'll probably use here, uses the PHPBB2 forum login system. So yeah when I'm finally done the site will also have a forum. Like in the past, but then it is here to stay.
Now all of the above is probably nothing more then informative filler and you might say: "yeah right" or not care at all, but fact is I'll be back better then ever (I hope ^_^ )
What!? You want a date for when I'll get back to business... Ehm... Well, let's just say before Santa arrives. I guess it could be called a Chrismas surprise? Oh yeah about the game alpha release, I think I'm going with the "when it's done" statement...
